Roughly 75 federal officials are expected to attend this day long symposium and will hear Painter talk about constructability.

"Getting federal officials to think reasonably about developing reasonable plans and details that don't over design and drive up costs will be a huge benefit for our industry" said Rashod Johnson, Director of Engineering for the Mason Contractors Association of America. "Jerry will do a great job of getting that point across to the federal officials participating in the symposium."

The MCAA is one of the Board members of the Masonry Industry Council (MIC) which sponsors the annual Federal Officials Seminar. The MIC also oversees research, workforce development, market development and public affairs projects that are jointed supported by allied industry organizations.
