MCAA Takes a Ride on the Chattanooga Choo-Choo

Words: Melissa AguiarThe Mason Contractors Association of Chattanooga Tennessee has met on the first Wednesday of every month at a famous local restaurant for many years. It was a pleasure, then, for MCAA to be invited to attend August's meeting, and be welcomed by this tight-knit group.

Teddy and Jeff Jenkins of Jenkins Masonry arranged for Melissa Polivka and Alan Griffin to join the lunch meeting of the MCA of Chattanooga, and discuss the benefits of MCAA membership. After a delicious meal, lively discussions about local industry issues, and a presentation from MCAA, Melissa and Alan were treated to a tour of the local architecture, built primarily with masonry, and of the downtown's brick sculptures constructed by the MCA of Chattanooga.

MCAA hopes to add the strong roster of this group as an affiliate chapter in the coming months, and hopes to make many more visits to this beautiful town.
