MCAA Takes a Bite from the Big Apple

Words: Melissa Aguiarimg src="images/92020041120-1.gif" width="200" height="150" border="1" align="right" hspace="10" vspace="1"> As the Mason Contractors Association of America works to expand our membership, we will be visiting one of the largest masonry markets in the U.S. to discuss the potential establishment of a new chapter. New York State, representing well over 1,000 masonry contractors, currently has a limited membership presence in MCAA. With all the activity and growth on the East Coast, the participation from these contractors as members would be very beneficial both to the Association and to the industry.

On November 8th, select MCAA staff and board members will hold a meeting at the Marriott Marquis on Broadway in New York City to talk about the formation of a New York chapter. All MCAA members from the state have been invited to attend, as well as over 1,100 non-member contractors.

We are excited to bring these contractors together to exchange ideas, and hopefully create an allied group. For more information about this event or to attend, please contact Melissa Polivka at mpolivka@masoncontractors.org, or toll free at 800-536-2225.
