Massive Updates to MCAA Website

The Masonry Headlines section is updated daily with new articles from the MCAA staff and others in the industry. Also, visit the Masonry Headlines Archive to find hundreds of previous articles dating back to 2002.

The Masonry Showcase website has been updated to include new information for both attendees and exhibitors. The Masonry Showcase at CONSTRUCT AMERICA™ is the largest marketplace showcasing the industry's top masonry building products and services combined with advanced education programs and industry networking events. A new About Masonry section has been added to the website which includes information on the History of Masonry, Why Masonry, the Green Building System, a Masonry Glossary, and an Image Gallery, which is one of the top rated pages on our website.

The Find a Contractor and Buyer's Guide profiles are also taking off and have been met with great excitement. Listed on the main page of the website, these tools allow visitors to search for either contractor or association members along with the services they provide and the products they offer. If you have not already done so, please update your profile to ensure that 15,000 hits that visit our website each day receive the correct information about your company.

The Technical Resources page has also been updated with information on Fire Endurance Ratings of Clay Brick Masonry. Look for more information to be added soon, including the Design Guide for Anchored Brick Veneer Over Steel Studs, the Design Guide for Structural Brick Veneer, and Notes on Selection, Design and Construction of Reinforced Hollow Clay Masonry.

New and updated information has also been added to the Safety Library. Over thirty articles and forms have been added spanning across nine different topics.

Several new events have been included in the Event Calendar. Our comprehensive calendar now includes important information on different meetings and shows up to the year 2018!
