Masonry Industry Council Hosts 7th Annual Federal Officials Seminar

On Thursday, December 2, 2004, the Masonry Industry Council (MIC) hosted the 7th Annual Federal Officials Seminar in Arlington, VA. There were almost 80 engineers, architects and other construction related professionals who work for Federal agencies in attendance. Masonry industry experts presented a range of topics to the attendees on a variety of topics including; Masonry Codes - Updates and Changes, Sustainability and Life Cycle Costs, Masonry Jobsite Troubleshooting and New Developments in the Masonry Industry. Many of the officials commented on the quality of the program and their anticipation of attending next years Seminar.

The MIC is a non-profit organization committed to increasing, preserving and regaining masonry markets. It consists of the Brick Industry Association, the International Masonry Institute, the Mason Contractors Association of America, the Masonry Society, the National Concrete Masonry Association and the Portland Cement Association.
