Workforce Development Making an Impact in Vermont

Words: Melissa AguiarMCAA's Workforce Development efforts are getting attention all across the country, most recently in Vermont. We were contacted last week by the Assistant Director of a high school career and technical education center in Brattleboro (near the Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts borders).

This school is interested in working with MCAA to develop a regional instructional center for masons, serving this tri-state area. They are considering using our "Masonry Training Series" for their curriculum, and partnering with our local contractors to plan and expand their current program. It will become a modern instructional facility with quality instruction for both high school and adult learners looking to enter the masonry industry.

We look forward to working in cooperation with this program, and will continue to report on the progress and success of this effort.
