Huge Turnout For MMCA Reception

Words: Dan KamysThe Michigan Mason Contractors' Association (MMCA) had a huge turnout in Chicago for the Masonry Showcase at Construct America. Several members traveled from various locations throughout Michigan via train.

A reception was held on Thursday evening, April 21, at the host hotel, the Fairmont Chicago. MMCA and MCAA President G. Alan Griffin plus members of the MCAA executive staff attended. A general membership meeting was held Friday morning. Mike Adelizzi and Marian (MJ) Marshall made extremely informative presentations to those attending. Friday evening, members and their guests gathered for dinner and a show at Second City.

MMCA's annual spring meeting and golf outing was held Tuesday, May 10th in Webberville.

The Bay Harbor Resort will be the location of the annual fall meeting and board of director election. Several family activities are planned at the beautiful resort on the shores of Lake Michigan near Petoskey during the weekend of September 16-18th.
