MII 2005 Golf Outing

Words: Dan KamysOn August 12th, don't bother to go to work! Why? Because the Masonry Institute of Iowa's (MII) 2005 Golf Outing will be held that day, so come out and join everyone else for an afternoon of fun in the sun.

The Sixth Annual MII Golf Outing is an 18-hole, four-man, best ball event held at The Legacy Club in Norwalk, Iowa. Pin and team prizes, as well as participation, have grown every year, with proceeds going to the Iowa Masonry Education Foundation to help fund scholarships for Iowa masonry and construction students.

Anyone can participate - manufacturers, suppliers, mason contractors, general contractors, architects, engineers or anyone who just appreciates high-quality construction. MII even has a special rate for architects, engineers and general contractors to show their appreciation for including masonry in their building projects. Registration rates are $60 per architect, engineer or general contractor; $75 per MII member; and $100 per non-member. The deadline for registration is July 31st.

So, get a team together and join in the fun. It'll be an afternoon of golf, good competition, plenty of great food and unbelievable prizes. And we guarantee it will be a whole lot better than going to work.
