During his sophomore and junior years, he qualified to compete at the state level in masonry at the Pennsylvania SkillsUSA-VICA competition.

A June York County Tech graduate, he has been employed by Caretti, Inc. for his cooperative education experience and has worked on the renovations at William Penn Senior High School. Last winter, he worked on the construction of the Clipper Stadium in Lancaster.
