Construction on the new 51,000-seat, $800 million New York Yankees stadium is expected to begin in 2006, and should conclude in time for the 2009 season. With a building site in Macombs Dam Park, adjacent to and north of the current field, the stadium is designed to mimic a vintage ballpark, with limestone throughout much of the exterior
