MCAA to Host MACPAC Reception at Convention

Words: Dan KamysOn Tuesday, March 28 the MCAA will hold its annual MACPAC Fundraising Reception in Las Vegas at the Venetian Hotel, Room 2102 from 6:00pm ? 7:00pm. At this event you will have the opportunity to meet with the MCAA's new Director of Government Affairs, Jessica Johnson Bennett, and learn about her strategies and goals for the upcoming election cycle.

Per FEC regulations, this event is limited to include only MCAA members and their families; admittance requires the minimum contribution, so please bring a personal check, cash or a credit card. Note that corporate checks cannot be accepted. The minimum contribution is $125 per person. Donors who give at the Silver ($250), Gold ($500) or Platinum ($1,000) levels will receive a commemorative edition MCAA lapel pin.

Contributions raised at this event go directly to the MAC PAC.Members' funds will support pro-masonry candidates in the 2006 election cycle, and in light of current legislation and regulation, our voices need to be heard in Washington, DC. The MCAA is actively involved in a variety of issues - including silica, hexavalent chromium, Social Security, immigration, tort reform, tax reform - including elimination of the death tax - OSHA reform legislation, Association Health Plan legislation - and the list goes on. In order to articulate and advance the mason contractors' agenda, the MCAA needs members to be engaged in the issues - issues which directly impact your business.
