Bullard, who is chairman of the E.D. Bullard Co., based in Cynthiana, Ky., was honored at ISEA's recent Fall Meeting in Arlington, Va. The award is given annually to individuals who have dedicated their professional lives to worker safety and health.
Bullard has served many years as a volunteer with the National Safety Council (NSC), rising to that organization's chairman position. When he completed his term as NSC board chairman in 2005, he received the Council's highest honor — the Distinguished Service to Safety Medal. For more than two decades, Bullard also served in volunteer positions with ISEA, culminating in his election to the Board of Trustees, serving as its chairman in 1996-98.

Edward D. "Jed" Bullard, head of the family-owned safety equipment company that bears his name, is the 2006 recipient of the International Safety Equipment Association's (ISEA's) Robert B.
