2007 MAF State Convention and Annual Meeting

Words: Francine AbramoffThe Masonry Association of Florida, Inc. (MAF) will hold its 2007 state convention and annual meeting at the Lido Beach Resort in Sarasota, Fla., Aug. 9-12. The association's intent is to provide fun-filled events and an inspiring venue that will promote the camaraderie among members that is essential to furthering the association's mission.

Convention activities include the annual meeting, board meeting and reception; apprentice competition and fastest trowel; and a golf tournament and beach activities. Also, Lynn Donohue, author of the critically acclaimed book "Brick by Brick: A Woman's Journey," will be the guest speaker at Friday night's dinner reception.
