The Mason Contractors Association of America invites you to compete in the nation’s premier event featuring the industry’s top masons- the annual Fastest Trowel on the Block Contest at MCAA’s convention with the World of Masonry in Las Vegas, Nevada, on January 24, 2008. This masonry competition highlights the speed, skills and craftsmanship of journeyman masons from across the country, and only those with the confidence and courage to face-off with the best are invited to be a part. The winners of the contest will take home over $10,000 in cash and prizes.

There are only 16 stalls available on a first-come basis for any Masons who are up to the challenge to prove they are the best!

Please download the registration form for the contest. To submit a team, (which will consist of one journeyman mason and two tenders), please fax or mail the completed form and payment to MCAA Headquarters by January 4, 2008. The registration fee is $250 and must be paid at time of registration. Further information on meeting locations, schedules and contest rules and check lists will be sent after teams are confirmed.

The competition in Las Vegas starts at 12:00pm on Thursday, January 24, 2008. Family, friends and industry members are welcome to cheer on their favorite teams. Come and show them what you've got!
