MCAA Launches YouTube Channel

Words: Mason ContractorsThe Mason Contractors Association of America is proud to announce the launch of the MCAA channel on the popular video sharing website, YouTube.

Founded in February 2005, YouTube is the leader in online video, and the premier destination to watch and share original videos worldwide through a Web experience. YouTube allows people to easily upload and share video clips on www.YouTube.com and across the Internet through websites, mobile devices, blogs, and email.

Currently, the MCAA channel features three videos of the 2008 Fastest Trowel on the Block competition held at the World of Concrete/World of Masonry in Las Vegas, Nev. The channel can be viewed at www.youtube.com/masoncontractorsassn.

“Uploading videos to YouTube is yet another way the association is utilizing the web to promote the masonry industry,” said Tim O’Toole, MCAA’s Manager of Information Technology. “The channel will allow our association to promote masonry and its benefits to YouTube’s millions of users around the world in new and exciting ways.”

Additional features are in the works for the MCAA website, www.masoncontractors.org, and will be launched later this year.
