IMI Grout Certification

The International Masonry Institute (IMI) can deliver grout training and certification right to the jobsite, where craftworkers get project-specific experience.

IMI offers instruction at the training centers, where even apprentices are exposed to the concept. BAC locals send instructors to the Flynn Center for train-the-trainer certification, to keep their members informed, too. The course covers various consolidation techniques, code requirements, inspection procedures, quality control, safety and ASTM standards. Craftworkers get a solid understanding of grout, reinforced masonry and proper installation.
