2008 Chicagoland Masonry Expo

The International Masonry Institute will host the Chicago-land Masonry Expo on May 21, 2008, in Addison, Ill., from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is geared toward contractors, architects and engineers.

This full day event for architects, engineers, and contractors includes 11 different masonry seminars and hands-on demonstrations. Topics include Masonry for Sustainability, Ventilated Screen Walls, Masonry Flashings, Structural Masonry Basics, Adhered and Anchored Veneer, Self Consolidating Grout, and many others. Material suppliers will have tabletop displays and literature, and there will be bricklaying demonstrations. Breakfast and lunch are provided and up to six Learning Units are offered.
