The American Concrete Institute's Distinguished Achievement Award will be presented to Oliver "Skip" Dulle Jr. of St. Louis at the ACI Fall 2008 Convention in St. Louis Nov. 2.
Since Dulle became the executive director of the Concrete Council of St. Louis in 1987, revenues of the organization have increased by more than 3000 percent. Along with developing a data-driven program to track and convert local projects to concrete construction, Dulle implemented an extensive in-house and seminar-based promotion program, along with a number of product demonstration and certification activities, that provides well over 2000 hours of CEU credits each year to local architects, engineers and public officials.
