Dinkel Wins WEATHER GUARD Contest

Knaack LLC announced the winner of its WEATHER GUARD Tough Truck Giveaway promotion. The winner, Dave Dinkel, a Plantation, Fla. resident received the keys to a 2009 Toyota Tundra pick-up truck outfitted in WEATHER GUARD truck equipment during the 2009 World of Concrete show in Las Vegas on February 4, 2009.

The contest is WEATHER GUARD’s third annual giveaway. The grand prize winner received a 2009 Toyota Tundra pick-up truck that is outfitted with various WEATHER GUARD storage equipment and accessories, including an aluminum saddle box, aluminum lo-side boxes and an ATR ladder rack with accessory side rails, all valued at $2,700.

Sponsored by Knaack LLC in partnership with Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A., Inc., the contest was open to all participants across the country to promote the WEATHER GUARD brand, and line of truck boxes and accessories. Advertisements in automotive and contractor trade magazines and the WEATHER GUARD Web site promoted the contest. Participants entered the contest online. Dinkel was randomly chosen out of more than 33,000 entries.

“I stumbled across the contest when I was surfing the WEATHER GUARD Web site,” said Dinkel. “I am very excited because I was looking into purchasing a new truck for work,” said Dinkel, who currently drives a 2001 Dodge Dakota with 160,000 miles on it.

Dinkel works as a property and condo manager in Coral Springs, Fla. “I was overwhelmed when I won,” said Dinkel. “The Toyota Tundra and WEATHER GUARD products will be put to very good use!”
