Exciting changes are coming to MACPAC this fall.
The MCAA is excited about some new changes coming this fall to the MCAA PAC, otherwise known as MACPAC. As we are all well aware, our industry is currently under tremendous pressure with all the new political action coming from DC in the form of legislation and regulation. Both are coming fast and furious and both need to be addressed and confronted each and every time they are presented.

This fall the MACPAC is creating a new newsletter which will be published quarterly and be developed in part by our lobbyists in DC. The newsletter will be called MACPAC Insider. In order to receive the quarterly newsletter, members will be asked to contribute a minimum of $250.00 to the MACPAC. These contributions need to be personal contributions in order to comply with FEC regulations and all money raised through this program will be directly used to contribute to candidates that are supportive of masonry industry interests.

Not $1 of any personal contributions will be used to operate/produce the newsletter or the PAC. If you have been a contributor to the PAC, your regular contribution will be used to give you access to the insider newsletter.

In addition to the newsletter, there will be a host of new benefits for contributors to the PAC. The MCAA can’t stress enough how important the MACPAC is to our success with our lobbying program in DC. While the lobbying and support for candidates are separate by law, our support of candidates friendly to masonry makes getting them in office and then our lobbying effort that much more successful. Getting people into office that already support our issues makes our lobbying efforts that much easier and thus more successful. Look for a sample of this newsletter and more information on the program coming out early this fall.
