The 2009 MCAA Midyear Meeting was a great success this past September, held in San Diego, CA at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, the program presented excellent educational programs.

In addition to the excellent education programs, attendees had a great time with numerous networking functions and participated in an MCAA Board meeting and three committee meetings. The event was capped off with a wonderful evening of baseball at PETCO Park to watch the San Diego Padres take on the Arizona Diamondbacks in the historical Western Metal Building. That evening began with an excellent show of the Navy Seals skydiving team (see photos) and saw the Padres losing the game 4-2 in the ninth inning.

Members of the MCAA will be able to go to the MCAA website, www.masoncontractors.org, to view two of the four education sessions presented in San Diego, free of charge. One program is on Family Succession Planning and the other is on Immigration and E-Verify.

The MCAA would like to send a very large thank you to the sponsors of our event, who helped make the event a huge success:
The MCAA would also like to thank the California Conference of Mason Contractors for doing their meeting jointly with the MCAA and for hosting an absolutely excellent round of golf at The Grand Del Mar Golf Club.

The next MCAA event will be our convention being held in conjunction with World of Masonry in Las Vegas February 1- 5. The MCAA's host hotel will be The Venetian Hotel. Visit convention.masoncontractors.org and make plans to attend today!
