Shahnaz Jaffari has been honored with a 2010 Sustainability Champion Award. The award is for individuals who have gone above and beyond required duties in the creation and implementation of a program or initiative that has made a measurable contribution to the environment, the economy and society. It is sponsored by PAETEC, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, the Colorado Environmental Partnership, CORE and Colorado Business Magazine.

Jaffari was presented with the award at the fifth annual Sustainable Opportunities Summit at the Colorado Convention Center March 3.
