Special Guest Speaker Added to Midyear Meeting

Words: Jeff BuczkiewiczThe Mason Contractors Association of America is very pleased to announce that we have added a speaker to the Midyear Meeting in Chicago.

Dominican Republic Ambassador Dr. Juan R. Avila Ceballos will be presenting at Tuesday evening’s dinner. He will discuss business opportunities in the Dominican Republic and will also speak of the efforts to rebuild Haiti which will be directed through the Dominican.

The MCAA has been working with the Dominican Republic to develop a program where members of the MCAA will be invited to open contracting companies in the Dominican Republic with training support of the domestic employees from the government. The Dominican Republic currently has some very enticing tax free incentives and the opportunities are plentiful in the country.

The Dominican Republic is conveniently located in the heart of the Caribbean. It’s a short 2 1/2 hour flight from New York and less than an hour flight from Florida.

You will not want to miss this very informative presentation.
