This webinar will allow attendees to gain a better understanding of the process of getting natural stone from the quarry to the project, see examples of problems on jobs caused by poor specifications, detailing and construction practices and learn how to avoid these and other mistakes in their projects, and learn points of reference and how they can be helpful in all phases of their projects no matter what the specified product.

It will also show some basic methods on how to simplify construction when obstacles, such as reinforcement, are required in masonry walls. Most important, the presentation will provide some insight on what inspectors should be looking for when observing masonry construction.
