Firestone Industrial Products Company, LLC, has named Steve Roberts as North American heavy-duty OE sales manager.

Firestone Industrial Products Company, LLC (FSIP), a global leader in air spring manufacturing, has named Steve Roberts as North American heavy-duty original equipment (OE) sales manager. Roberts succeeds Mark Hilburger, who now serves as the division manager for marketing.

"Steve brings wide-ranging experience in the heavy-duty trucking industry and is well-equipped to provide extensive support to our customers," said Michael Sigillito, sales and marketing director at FSIP. "He will play an instrumental role in maximizing Firestone Industrial Products' market opportunities."

Prior to joining FSIP, Roberts spent 15 years at Tenneco, Inc. Hired as program engineer, he was promoted to manager/account executive where his responsibilities included: delivering new, profitable business; growing existing business; and managing costs through astute negotiation of purchasing agreements and collaboration with the accounts receivable group. His customer base included Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks and Hendrickson.

Roberts holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Polymer Science and Technology from the Metropolitan University of Manchester, Manchester, England.
