ICRI (International Concrete Repair Institute) announced that BASF's Building Systems business, together with ConTech Restoration, was honored with the prestigious ICRI 2011 Project of the Year Award for their work on the Royal Floridian Condominium Restoration in Ormond Beach, Florida.

BASF was also honored with an Award of Excellence in the Transportation category for the Conde McCullough Bridge Repair - South End in Coos Bay, Oregon, as well as an Award of Merit in the Special Projects category for the Mill Cove Transmission Line Towers Piling Repairs in Jacksonville, Florida.

"We are proud to have contributed to such outstanding projects in 2011," said Brian Denys, Vice President of Building Systems, BASF Corporation. "It is our commitment to partnering with customers to solve problems, combined with innovative BASF construction products, which contribute to the success of projects like these."

ICRI conducts an awards program each year to honor and recognize outstanding projects in the concrete repair industry. Projects are judged based on the uniqueness, use of state of the art methods, the use of materials, functionality, value engineering and aesthetics. Entries are received from around the world, and the winning projects are honored each year at the annual ICRI Awards Dinner and Reception at each ICRI Fall Convention. This year's Awards Dinner took place on Oct.13 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
