An IPAF Seminar was held in Singapore at the Raffles Marina on 6 January.

A total of 38 people attended, including staff from the Singapore Ministry of Manpower, from manufacturers such as Haulotte, Skyjack and Snorkel, and from rental companies and end-users.

The seminar was run by IPAF technical officer Chris Wraith and covered topics ranging from thorough examination, maintenance, service and repair, to overload tests and emergency lowering systems.

"The seminar went down very well," said Raymond Wat, regional manager of IPAF South East Asia. "The participants appreciated the content and issues covered, as well as the opportunity to network. IPAF plans to hold more such events for members and non-members in the region."
