Half way through SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500 Regional competition season
Eight more SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500 Regionals scheduled throughout North America
SPEC MIX, Inc., has held half of the 2012 SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500 Regional competitions which decide who competes in the 2013 SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500 National, at the World of Concrete/World of Masonry trade show at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada, during February 5-8. The National bricklaying competition event will be held during that week on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. It will be part of an all-day “Masonry Madness” program that will include 4 masonry brick and block competition events starting mid-morning and running all day.
When the leaves start to turn color this time of year masons around the world know it is the season to qualify for a National competition spot in the SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500 program. Eight of the 16 Regionals planned for 2012 have been held to-date. The qualifying winners will represent their regions at the National and compete for the largest grouping of prizes & cash for a masonry competition in the world and the coveted title of “World's Best Bricklayer.”
