The 2013 MCAA Midyear Meeting begins with a night at the Magic Kingdom® Park. Wonder, fantasy and plenty of pixie dust are everywhere at the Magic Kingdom® Park. Thursday will kick off with breakfast and MCAA Committee Meetings. Each committee will present a brief overview of accomplishments from the past year and goals for the upcoming year.

SPEC MIX will present the SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500 Florida Regional Thursday afternoon. Teams consisting of a journeyman mason and a tender will compete in the brick laying competition with the goal of laying as many brick as possible in one hour. The judges will check each mason’s wall for workmanship and production to determine who will advance to compete in the national competition at the World of Masonry in Las Vegas.

The evening will conclude with Fantasmic! Show. The power of dreams blazes before you in this breathtaking 30-minute fireworks and water extravaganza. With a cast of 50 costumed performers singing beloved tunes and classic animation projected onto walls of water, Fantasmic! Show overflows with surprises for the entire family. An hors d’oeuvres reception will be held prior to the show.

Friday morning, all MCAA members are invited to the MCAA Board Meeting. The meeting is structured to allow interaction and participation from members. Members of the MCAA are asked to attend and take an active role in shaping the future of the association and the masonry industry.
