The Scaffold and Access Industry Association (SAIA) has announced a new strategic plan to guide the organization in its planning, activities and initiatives. The strategic plan includes the organization’s mission, vision, core values, strategic priorities, goals and key objectives.
SAIA is an international trade association whose members include individuals and companies that manufacture, sell, rent, erect, and support products or equipment used in the scaffold and access industry. The plan was developed over several months with the input of SAIA members, staff and board of directors and approved by the Board of Directors in February 2015.
“This new strategic plan is transparent and inclusive of the full spectrum of SAIA priorities, including our professional activities and business operations,” said SAIA President Mike Russell. “The organization’s entire future activities stem from the principles outlined here.”
The strategic plan also introduces the SAIA’s new vision:
To lead the advancement and promotion of safety in the scaffold and access industry utilizing resources, education and communication.
The plan includes five new goals that support the core values and 21 objectives that focus on the goals. The full strategic plan can be viewed at www.saiaonline.org/StrategicPlan.
