Gary Joyner recognized for leadership

The Masonry Foundation Chairman Tom Daniel and current MCAA Chairman, Mark Kemp presented NCMCA Board Chairman and MCAA Regional Vice President Gary Joyner “The Masonry Foundation Leadership Award” at the September MCAA Midyear Meeting in Key West for his successful efforts in soliciting for the foundation in the Carolinas. As of October 2015, North Carolina leads the nation in pledges.

North Carolina was well represented at the Key West meeting. Past Presidents Calvin Brodie, Danks Burton, Freddy Koontz, Larry Kirby and Gary Joyner and their wives were joined by Terry Ward, Imani Brodie, Lynn Nash, Charles Newsome, and Eric Peterson. North Carolina firms were among those recognized for pledges to The Masonry Foundation: Brodie Contrators, McGee Brothers Company, Tucker-Kirby Company, Joyner Masonry, Pinnacle Masonry, Carolina Stalite, Manning Masonry, Gates Construction Company, Koontz Masonry, and Kirby Construction Services.
