About the Authors
Imani Brodie is the Geotechnical and Environmental Products Engineer at Carolina Stalite Company in Raleigh, N.C. She has served as the MasonrySystems.org Committee Chairperson and the South of 40 Committee Chairperson for the Mason Contractors Association of America.
Michael Palmer is a Building Envelope Specialist for Dow Building Solutions based in the Washington, DC Metro Area. Michael’s background is in Architectural Engineering with a focus in building mechanics and HVAC design. In addition to his time at Dow, his previous work experiences are based in both construction management and HVAC design. Working with Dow, Michael’s current expertise hones in on a combination of design principles and the constructability challenges faced while executing a building envelope design. He has served as the South of 40 Committee Chairman for the Mason Contractors Association of America.
