Powerful, Empowering Performance Reviews with No Surprises webinar

Make performance reviews positivie and engaging

By

The Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) will present “Powerful, Empowering Performance Reviews with No Surprises!” on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at 10:00 AM CDT.

Performance reviews often get a bad rap - managers don't like giving them and employees are stressed when getting them! A performance discussion should be a positive thing with no surprises - and it should also be a motivator to develop skills further. This interactive session presents best practices to make these discussions positive, engaging and profitable for all parties!

This webinar will help attendees:

  1. Learn how to do performance reviews for the right reasons, and gain awareness of the common pitfalls, why people dislike doing performance reviews, the causes of poor employee performance and disconnects in expectations.
  2. Understand how to define and measure ideal performance - High Payoff Activities (HPAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and self-managed scorecards.
  3. Learn how to provide feedback, coaching and training (which is a process - not an event) effectively, how to identify performance gaps and practice with developing training/action plans. Practice with the Motivation Plan and other tools.
Mason contractors registered for Masonry Certification will receive 1.00 credits in the Ethics and Business Practices discipline upon completion of this course.

This webinar is free to all attendees. Register for “Powerful, Empowering Performance Reviews with No Surprises!” at www.masoncontractors.org/live.
