NCMA’s ICON-Xchange 2017: Strengthens the Industry

By

The National Concrete Masonry Association sponsored its fourth successful ICON-Xchange, February 18-19, at the Arizona Grand Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. More than 500 attendees participated in the two-day event.

On Saturday, February 18 and Sunday, February 19, the B2B Exchange provided a one-on-one meeting format for 37 industry supplier companies to conduct private meetings with 31 manufacturing companies of all sizes, resulting in more than 800 meetings. Host vendor companies were “matched up” with attending producer companies prior to the event to give each a 25-minute exclusive appointment. In addition, 44 companies participated in the Integrated Tabletop Marketplace which provided another opportunity to network and reach potential customers/suppliers.

“For the last four years, ICON-Xchange has best served the manufactured concrete masonry and hardscapes industry by providing unique opportunities to expand business and build relationships,” said 2016 NCMA Chairman of the Board Patrick Sauter.

ICON-Xchange is an annual event that provides a business meeting format that gives its attendees the best return on their investment. ICON-Xchange delivers suppliers to the manufactured concrete masonry and hardscape industry with a unique business-to-business summit which includes opportunities to learn, meet and connect with current and potential business partners.

NCMA also held its Annual Convention in conjunction with ICON-Xchange where the 2017 Board of Directors took office with Steve Berry of Oldcastle Architectural, Inc. serving as Chairman of the Board.

In 2018, NCMA is launching the ICON EXPO 2018 Equipment & Machinery Show, February 9-10 in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Westin Indianapolis Hotel. NCMA’s Annual Convention will be February 6-8, 2018.
