Allen West

Congressman Allen West proudly served 22 years in the United States Army. Before retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel, he served as a Field Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army in several combat zones including Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom, and as a battalion commander for the Army’s 4th Infantry Division. After retirement, he returned to Afghanistan, as a civilian advisor training Afghan officers. He has represented Florida’s 22nd District.
