MCAA Committee Chairman Handbook

What is the MCAA and its Mission?

What is the MCAA

Today's mason contractor faces greater challenges than ever before, finding more projects to build, having an ample, skilled workforce to do the work, keeping governmental agencies such as OSHA from unfairly interfering with the safe and profitable operation of our projects and trying to keep up with an ever more sophisticated competitor are just some of the forces that mason contractors must deal with on a daily basis.

The Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) has been assisting mason contractors succeed since 1950. The MCAA has developed programs and services in every area that impacts the mason contractor. From MCAA's recruiting and training materials to work on safety codes and standards, the MCAA is dedicated to helping the mason contractor succeed.

Mission of the MCAA

The MCAA is committed to preserving and promoting the masonry industry by providing continuing education, advocating fair codes and standards, fostering a safe work environment, recruiting future manpower, and marketing the benefits of masonry materials.
