Emergencies on the Job Site - Are You Prepared?

Provider: Mason Contractors Association of America
Discipline: Safety
Credits: 1.00

Preparing for emergencies on a construction site is no longer a matter of just ensuring fire prevention and evacuation. Last month two construction workers doing a renovation at a school site took down an active shooter. Each year the FBI records a number of terrorist acts targeting construction sites. On top of these are natural events like tornadoes or earthquakes which affect everyone in their path - regardless of location or type of work. Every type of emergency can strike anywhere!

This webinar will help you prepare for emergencies. It will identify regulations targeting employer responsibilities and describe the basic elements of a company emergency response plan. It will also offer procedures you can share with employees to protect them from various events.
