OSHA Fall Protection Standards
In this session attendees will receive an overview of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's Construction Fall Protection standards (29 CFR 1926 Subpart M). Participants will learn about the various fall protection requirements with a focus on hazards typically encountered in the concrete industry.
1. Identify and explain the main components of OSHA's fall protection requirements
2. Examine fall protection hazards
3. Evaluate whether worksite conditions conform to OSHA's fall protection requirements
4. Determine actions needed to protect against hazards and conform with OSHA regulations
