Fastest Trowel on the Block Competition
The Fastest Trowel on the Block Competition showcases the speed and skill of a journeyman mason and how important teamwork is in accomplishing a final product. With the time limit that is placed on the contestant,they must make certain decisions based on the judging criteria set forth. Only those journeymen masons who have the skill, confidence and courage to face-off with the industry's best will be invited to complete.

International Masonry Skills Challenge
The International Masonry Skills Challenge is a competition of masonry apprentices in first, second and third year skill levels. The contest is a showcase for skills training in the masonry industry, challenging winning apprentices from regional U.S. and foreign competitions to determine the top masonry apprentice at each level. The exciting competition spotlights our industry's finest young masons and focuses attention on careers in the masonry industry.

International Excellence in Masonry Awards Competition
The purpose of the Awards is to give recognition to mason contractors, architects and building owners for outstanding accomplishments in masonry design and construction. Entries are reviewed for overall design excellence and creative use of brick, block, stone, glass block or tile. Judges focus on aesthetic and technical design achievement, as well as masonry craftsmanship.

Masonry Village Competition
This two day competition challenges leading contractors from across the country to create a design build project with a predetermined amount of brick, masonry units, glass block and cultured stone. This program showcases the creative energies and work of masonry experts to gain a better understanding of non-traditional uses of masonry and how a onedimensional plan becomes a three-dimensional structure.
