With a strong work ethic, Fletcher has worked on the Texas School Book Depository Building in Dallas, the Tremont House in Galveston and Detroit's Fisher Building.

Fletcher traveled through the historic Southwest, working on restoration from 1981 to 1989. He lectured and conducted seminars for the Michigan Preservation Network, while working closely with the Grosse Pointe Historical Society and the International Masonry Institute.
