Vacuum-Hoist LifterAnver Corporation
The Anver VB is a fully integrated vacuum-hoist lifter that can be equipped with custom pad attachments to handle three cement blocks at once, or various types of patio blocks and pavers. The Vacuum-Hoist Lifter can be equipped with an extruded aluminum or steel frame and custom vacuum pad attachments to match specific load requirements. Providing instant attach-and-release from the top surfaces, vacuum holding eliminates the damage that can be caused by lifting with tongs and grabs. It is offered with capacities of up to 2,000 pounds and is powered by a remote pump that can be located up to 150 feet away from the vacuum lifting head.
Brush and Scraper ComboHyde Tools
Hyde Tools’ MAXXGRIP PRO scraper blade is set on the tapered nose of two conveniently sized industrial quality brushes: a long-handle, large brush design for large area prepping with a tapered nose, and an offset-handle, small block design for smaller area prepping. The tools are for tough surface cleanup and prep. The addition of the high-carbon steel blade makes tackling difficult jobs easier. Ideal for scraping paint and scrubbing cement or any other hard surface, all brushes are solvent resistant and easy to clean.
Low-cost Block GrinderConcut, Inc.
Concut Inc.’s CB-1500E block grinder provides big machine quality and safety at the fraction of the cost of other alternatives. The grinder uses Turbo Wheel design, so coarse and fine grinding can be accomplished in a single pass with a single grinding head. The CB-100E features a 10-horsepower electric motor and solid state controls on a heavy-duty structural steel frame. Completely enclosed grinding operation provides for maximum operator safety. This block grinder can also be adapted to bull nose or chamfer block.
Tuff TubbyMuskingum Equipment Outfitters
Muskingum Equipment Outfitters’ mortar/concrete tub, the Tuff Tubby, holds 10 cubic feet and is made of a durable, lightweight virgin polyetholene. The material is light in color to help repel heat, allowing the tub to stay cooler and requiring less tempering of material. The Tuff Tubby has a non-stick surface and rounded corners for easy clean up. The Tuff Tubby works on conventional and hydraulic scaffolding. Optional eight-inch wheels make for easy mobility on scaffolding and inside buildings.
