Hilti’s SCM 18-A Cordless Metal Cutting Circular Saw is designed with cold-cutting technology, which provides a clean, cool cut to help increase productivity and an optimized blade that increases tool life. The tool and blade combination cuts everyday materials like strut, threaded rod and rebar, plus the system will take on demanding applications like back-to-back strut or thick steel with ease. The SCM 18-A offers portability for easy movement around the jobsite and features a clear vision pane for better line of sight, and a LED light that provides better visibility of the work surface.

Thermafiber has released a continuous insulation product, RainBarrier HD (Heavy Density), a rigid insulation board with a consistent six pcf density throughout the entire thickness. The consistent density simplifies installation by eliminating the need to orient the insulation in a certain direction. The increased density enhances the rigidity and ease of fabrication. The mineral wool board is non-combustible and provides exceptional R-values of 4.2 per inch of thickness. RainBarrier HD is permeable, controls sound and is available with up to 90 percent certified-recycled content.
