CRSS to honor John Smith, Sr.
Smith will receive the Heart and Cross Award

Cardinal Ritter Senior Services has selected John Smith, Sr. to receive their Heart and Cross Award. This award is given annually to an individual, organization or family that supports senior adults without resources. John is a former Board member of Cardinal Ritter and currently serves on their Finance Committee.
In recognizing John, CRSS CEO Sister Suzanne Wesley commented, "He keeps the word out on the street about CRSS and was instrumental in both building and contributing funds for our Blessing Garden, as well as continuing to support CRSS financially for years! John contributes his expertise, the wisdom of his years in running his company and participating in the civic community as well as being a generous donor."
Cardinal Ritter Senior Services provides programs, faciltiies and services designed to meet the needs of senior adults. With their social service programs, independent housing and assisted living facility and assistance for seniors to remain at home safely, their goal is to honor choices and maintain the quality of life for senior adults by "doing the right thing, in the right way, for the right reason, every time."
John will receive the Heart and Cross Award at the November 1, 2013 CRSS Dinner to be held at the Crowne Plaza in Clayton.
