Training sessions to be held around IPAF US Convention
Three fee-based training sessions will be offered
There are three fee-based training sessions that are being held around the IPAF US Convention that will take place on 21 and 22 October 2013 at the Renaissance Chicago O’Hare Suites Hotel in Chicago, IL.
Red Cross CPR/AED training will be held before the IPAF US Convention opens, on the morning of 21 October from 10:00 to 11:30 am at the Renaissance hotel.
NES Rentals is sponsoring this session. Those who wish to attend should register with Teresa Kee, NES Rentals.
Those registered must take an online course prior to attending the CPR/AED training. They must participate in a hands-on session that morning to complete the training.
AWPT’s Aerial Work Platforms (AWPs) for Managers training will be held after the IPAF US Convention closes, on the afternoon of 22 October from 1:00 to 5:30 pm at the NES Rentals offices, right next door to the convention hotel.
NES Rentals’ Gary Riley, an AWPT senior instructor, will be conducting this course. This four-hour classroom-only session ends with a written test that attendees must pass in order to receive a certificate.
Those who wish to attend the AWPs for Managers course should register directly with Teresa Kee, NES Rentals.
A two-day evaluator course will be held on 23 and 24 October, both days from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, at the NES Rentals facility in Des Plains.
The evaluator course is aimed at qualifying individuals to offer practical assessments for AWP operator trainees who have taken the AWP eLearning module.
This course is targeted at existing AWPT-approved training centres or those who would like to become an AWPT training centre offering the AWP eLearning module. While the evaluator course will be of value to anyone who offers AWP practical assessment, it will be most directly beneficial to those who specifically wish to offer the AWPT AWP operator eLearning module. All AWPT training is offered by IPAF members who elect to become approved training centres. IPAF itself does not offer training.
Those who wish to attend the evaluator course should register directly with AWPT-approved training centre NES Rentals.
