At the 2014 ASC A92 Aerial Platforms Main Committee meeting that was held in Las Vegas on October 29, 2014 three new members were approved for the Main Committee. 113 attendees made up of members and guests, attended four days of productive meetings.

Beta Max, Inc., ExxonMobil and Moog USA, Inc. will join 76 other companies of the ASC A92 Main Committee to develop safety guidelines for the design, construction, testing, maintenance, inspection, training, use and operation of elevating and rotating aerial devices, work platforms and vertical devices primarily used to position personnel.

“The main committee meeting concluded three full days of subcommittee working meetings. The amount of time these companies and individuals have committed to developing standards that assist in the prevention of accidents and injuries, as well as, establishing criteria for the manufacturers is commendable. On behalf of the scaffold and access industry thank you for your commitment,” said SAIA President, Mike Russell.
