Eighteen companies were honored at the MIA Awards Luncheon at TISE 2016 for earning MIA Accreditation in 2015. MIA Accreditation for natural stone fabricators and commercial contractors recognizes those companies that meet the industry's highest standards for business activities, product knowledge, fabrication and installation.

MIA Accreditation Commission Chair Rodney Harvey (Curtain Wall Design & Consulting, Inc.) commented: β€œThe future of the Accreditation program is very bright as the number of accredited companies in each category continues to grow, meeting the needs of consumers, the construction market, and the design community.” Carol Wilkins, Accreditation Manager at MIA+BSI, agrees: β€œ2015 was a strong year for the Accreditation program, as we saw the program grow to over 100 locations. We expect to see further growth in 2016. Several Immersion Classes are planned for this year, and we have exciting things in store for accredited members, including several educational webinars.”
