The Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) will host “Advancements in Manufactured Masonry Thin Veneers” on Monday, June 13, 2016, at 10:00 AM CDT, presented by Echelon Masonry.

Those who attend will be presented the following:

  1. Discussion on the characteristics of manufactured stone veneer in terms of green building goals.
  2. Comparison of natural stone veneer, full-profile stone, and manufactured stone veneer in terms of aesthetics, cost, environmental soundness, and durability.
  3. Details on recent advances in manufactured stone veneer and how the product has advanced in terms of aesthetics, adherence, energy efficiency, and moisture control.
  4. Explanation of the various types of installation systems and how they reflect advances in design to achieve consistency with the building code and sustainability goals.
Mason contractors registered for Masonry Certification will receive 1.00 credits in the Masonry Products discipline upon completion of this course.
