Dealing with Historic Masonry Webinar

Bring your historic masonry dilemmas

By

The Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) will present “Dealing with Historic Masonry” on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM CDT.

Additions, repairs, and adaptive retrofit of historic masonry structures can bring up a long list of questions for a mason. What types of mortar and grout should I use? How should I attach new structural members to the existing masonry? Are the multiple wythes of masonry well-connected? Etc. Mr. Harvey will discuss how masons can get answers to these questions as well as some general tips for dealing with historic masonry structures. There will also be time for questions, so bring your historic masonry dilemmas.

Mason contractors registered for Masonry Certification will receive 1.00 credits in the Codes & Standards discipline upon completion of this course.

This webinar is free to all attendees. Register for “Dealing with Historic Masonry” at www.masoncontractors.org/live.
