This course will help subcontractors understand the workings of bid room on bid day from the view point of an estimator and project manager. Identification of basic, but often overlooked needs and expectations of the General Contractor as well as help develop some bid day strategies. Voluntary alternates and value engineering will also be a topic of discussion; the goal is to help subcontractors understand that their experience can bring great value on bid day. This course will help develop the confidence required to bid any size construction projects, and become a valuable asset to any general contractor.
