A performance discussion should be a positive thing with no surprises - and it should also be a motivator to develop skills further. This interactive session presents best practices to make these discussions positive, engaging and profitable for all parties!
This webinar will help attendees:
- Learn how to do performance reviews for the right reasons, and gain awareness of the common pitfalls, why people dislike doing performance reviews, the causes of poor employee performance and disconnects in expectations.
- Understand how to define and measure ideal performance - High Payoff Activities (HPAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and self-managed scorecards.
- Learn how to provide feedback, coaching and training (which is a process - not an event) effectively, how to identify performance gaps and practice with developing training/action plans. Practice with the Motivation Plan and other tools.
